Documents Needed for Lender Underwriting Submission


When getting ready to submit your loan, you will need to gather several documents in order for your file to get approved by underwriting.
Here is a list of documents you should start gathering:

2 months... Pay stubs... most recent with YTD clearly showed.
Income Taxes 2023.. include every page...Form 1040
Income Taxes 2022.. include every page... Form 1040

w-2 for 2023
w-2 for 2022

2 months.. Bank Statements, All Pages, including blank pages...
Insurance for Property. That shows: Policy Number, Phone number, and Premium...
Copy of Mortgage Statements, for all properties.

If property is a Condominium or Townhome:
HOA (Home Owners Due) Document showing: Property Address, and Monthly Payment.

A copy of either: Driver License, Passport, or Government issued ID.

If transaction is a Purchase:
Copy of the Purchase and sales agreement

If you have additional rental properties:
Copy of Rental Agreement for Investment Properties.

If you run a separate self-employed business that you report taxes separately:
Business Income Taxes 2023.. include every page... signed on page2 of income tax
Business Income Taxes 2022.. include every page... signed on page2 of income tax

If you are not a US citizen, then either:
Permanent Resident Card ( Back and Front )
Visa information(if applicable)
Resident Alien Card (Back and Front)
Employment Authorization Document (Back and Front)
